Our Leadership

Pastor

Daniel grew up in Sonoma, California. In 1994 he graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a double major in International Studies and Christian Ministries. After serving with an adventure-based ministry in Portland, Oregon for a number of years, he made his way to the Sunshine state and graduated with a Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando. For the next 18 years, Daniel served two PCA churches in Florida. In 2021, returning to his home state, Daniel accepted a call to serve Providence Presbyterian as their pastor. Daniel and his wife Jamie have been married since 1997 and have two daughters. He enjoys spending time with family, with friends, hiking, going on bike rides, drinking specialty coffee and good wine, reading and watching movies. But most of all, he loves the Lord and has a true desire to see God worshiped and glorified as the church fulfills its commission.

Elders

Marty and his wife Robin became members of Providence in 2014. They have four children. They were drawn to Providence by the faithful preaching, the fellowship and being able to worship as a family. Marty grew up attending non-denominational churches before being convinced of Reformed theology and Presbyterian polity. He was nominated to be an elder in 2020 and then ordained as an elder of Providence in August of 2020. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, and reading old books.

Greg Mattox

Greg grew up in a Christian home and attended many non-denominational churches before coming to Providence in 2011. After several years of learning about God's majesty and sovereignty and the beauty of the Gospel through the reformed teaching at Providence, Greg became ordained as an elder at Providence in 2014.

Moving from his work as an estate planning attorney and charitable estate planner in healthcare, Greg also joined the Presbyterian Church in America Foundation (PCAF) in 2022. In his role with PCAF, Greg assists Christians across the country who would like to increase giving to their home church and other ministries by gifting non-cash assets and through their estate plans.

Greg enjoys working on cars and his house, studying theology, history, and finance, watching college football and basketball, and eating spicy food.

Greg is married to Adriana, and Greg and Adriana have five children.
